Podcasting Is A Great Format For Digital Media

The podcast is something I may bring back. It's such a fun way to be creative and producing the 7 shows that we have available at this point has been great to go back and listen to. I've been doing podcasting for years now on other projects, but doing one for dreamlab is certainly something I think is imperative so I've added the link to the site so that you can go to the main page we have through Podomatic. One of the main things I know modern designers need to learn are digital media platforms and podcasts have been great for everything! Podcasting is a lot of fun for me because it allows me to play DJ, but what most people don't understand is that there's a lot more that's involved with it, but if you're able too it's easy and a lot of fun. Mixing sound is something that's become easier since computers now have the capabilities to do it all with ease. I actually use free open source programs like Audcacity to mix these days because it gives me just what I needed. Back in the day I remember hiring people just to use their studio equipment. Not anymore...

Also, using a service like Podomatic has been great because it connects people to listen. It also gets the shows out to iTunes which has been a great help. So, for all of you who have listened to Dreamlab's podcast thanks, and expect more to come!
